Confirmation Class

We would love to have your child join us for a 5-week series with Pastor John Scholte teaching the foundations of our faith. For each Sunday of August, we will sit down with Pastor John and discuss some of the fundamentals of what we believe. From who is Jesus, what is the Holy Spirit, and how do I pray? To what is baptism (students will receive the opportunity to be baptized see italicized text below), how do I share my faith with others, and what does it mean when we say we are Presbyterian.

Due to the circumstances with COVID-19, we will gather via zoom for class this year. It is not ideal as so much of Confirmation is the community aspect, but we will do what we can to create personal connections in our group.

Confirmation is a coming of age opportunity for many young Christians, and we encourage you to register your student for this course. I remember for myself (Richard) the value of the weekly meeting, learning about the building blocks of my faith, with my peers and the community it was able to foster. We would love a similar opportunity for your student.

To register your student, contact richard@rbcpc.org to receive the login code for the class.

For students who are interested in being baptized, a private COVID-19 compliant baptism will be created. We look forward to celebrating this experience with you.
