At Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church, our children’s ministry—KidsLife—is a place where we are honored to walk with children as we grow in knowledge, experience, and faith in Jesus. We desire for every child to discover that church is a family where we belong, where we can laugh, learn, and build lasting relationships.

Our Mission

At RBCPC, our Family Ministry Mission is that every person, from 0 to eternity, would know they are loved, known, and seen by God—through the way they are loved, known, and seen by Christ in us.

Each week is a chance to discover the incredible life we have in Jesus Christ, learn to love one another as He has loved us, and honor Him by bringing glory to God in all we say and do. It’s also a time to grow in faith, build friendships, and walk together in His joy.

Whether your family has been part of the church family for years or you’re just starting to explore faith, your children will find a place here to grow, belong, and be known.

What do Sunday Mornings look like?

Kids from Preschool through 5th Grade join us in Room 262 for worship, games, and a Bible story. Afterward, we split into age-based groups in Room 261 for lessons, crafts, and activities designed just for them. It’s a time to explore God’s Word in meaningful and developmentally appropriate ways.

For our youngest children (ages 0–4), Tinytown provides loving care and fun activities at the 9:30am service in the Childcare Room on the Lower Level. Kids enjoy songs, Bible stories, and playtime in a safe and nurturing setting.

What do Wednesday Evenings look like?

On Wednesday nights, KidsLife continues the fun and faith-building in a midweek gathering designed for kids to dive deeper into God’s Word. Through interactive lessons, games, worship, and hands-on activities, children build friendships, grow in their knowledge of Jesus, and learn how to live out their faith day by day. It’s a midweek boost of joy, encouragement, and community for kids from Preschool through 5th Grade.

Our program runs from 6:30–7:30pm, giving younger children plenty of time to get home for bedtime. Doors remain open until 8:00pm for free play and for children to stay while their middle and high school siblings finish their programs.

We’d love for your kids to be part of KidsLife this week. Together, we’ll learn more about Jesus’ love, worship Him joyfully, and have a blast along the way.
