Opportunity to Serve - Solutions for Change

Each year Solutions for Change sponsors Christmas activities for their children and families. This year we have been invited to volunteer in a variety of ways. Please review the following activities to see where you may feel called to help:

(Tuesday) December 5 - Project Jingle Bells You can sign up to be a small group that decorates one of the apartments and buys gifts for a family. Usually a single Mom and her children. Apartments are small and easy to decorate.

Or you can sign up to be a volunteer that checks in groups, assists with parking, or helps to unload cars. There is an am and a pm shift broken down into 2 hour windows.

(Friday) December 15(1:30-5:00) - Shopping Day Solutions is inviting volunteers for various roles, including gift wrapping, toy sorting, and shopping buddies to accompany children as they select a special gift for their parents. Toys and gifts will be provided by Solutions … you are the helper.

(Saturday) December 16 (10:00-2:30) - Resident Christmas Party Join the Solutions staff spreading holiday cheer for their residents. A celebration is planned for Solutions families, filled with crafts, gifts, and games. Solutions is looking for volunteers to assist in distributing gifts and food, and others to host fun games and craft stations for the kids. Your time and enthusiasm can make a difference in brightening the holiday season for families at Solutions.
