Concert Series: Jaebon Hwang Silent Movie with Organ

Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror (1922) is a silent horror motion picture directed by German director, Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau, closely based on Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula. The film is widely seen as a template for the genre, and was groundbreaking in its storytelling, cinematography, and set design. Its influence on filmmakers was profound, and its impact is apparent in later works widely regarded today as classics. The film will be presented in the style of the era, accompanied live on the organ with original scoring by the artist.
