Church Chat: The Brooks Family

Matt and Angela Brooks have been members of RB Community for 3 years. Their paths first converged in Pacific Beach shortly after graduating college. The first 3 years of dating were a blur of racing toward goals and challenges together. The eclectic list from that time includes artificial livers, autoimmune diagnostics, police academy, virtual Jenny Craig centers, 2003 wildfires, AMN Healthcare, church membership, a baptism, a Montana vacation and ended with an engagement. Currently they both work in the biotechnology sector. Matt leads a multimillion-dollar manufacturing effort for a global autoimmune diagnostic kit company. Angela spent 15 years as an executive recruiter, specialized in building management teams and boards for diagnostic and drug companies focused on cancer. The couple now lives in Scripps Ranch with their 5-year-old son, Alan. The adventures continue with Alan, who is an avid mountain biker and has grown to love the family’s annual treks to Montana.
