Takuma started attending RBCPC Kids Life in 2002 when his family moved from Pasadena to Poway. He grew up in the children’s program, graduated from Highway High school Ministry, and was baptized after completing the confirmation class. He chose the cello in 4th grade because it wasn’t high pitched like the violin or clumsy like the bass. He continued performing with school orchestras and various groups such as San Diego Youth Symphony. In high school, he realized he wanted to use his gifts to play music for God with the church orchestra and praise team, and he continues to play to this day. Since graduating from USD accounting last year, he works as an auditor at a CPA firm and is working toward completing the CPA licensure requirements.
