This summer was so exciting for our students! Here’s a quick recap of the many fun events they participated in this season:
Thousand Pines Summer Camp: We had an amazing week at Summer Camp at Thousand Pines Christian Camp! Our students had an incredible time stepping away from everyday distractions to build deep community, encounter Jesus, and grow together as disciples.
Belmont Senior Living Joint Bible Study: Our students joined residents at Belmont Senior Living for a shared Bible study. They had the opportunity to sit alongside older generations who generously shared their life stories and their faith.
Pool Party Series: We hosted six fantastic summer pool parties! These gatherings provided high-energy fun and a comfortable environment where students explored what it means to find peace amid a chaotic world.
Surf Church: We hosted three services at Torrey Pines State Beach, where students got to be a part of a unique worship experience by the ocean! It was a powerful reminder that despite the heavy stress many of our youth carry, they have a deep, God-given desire to be together, play, and experience Christian community in creation.
Rainforest Falls VBS Volunteering: Our students showed up in a big way to serve at Rainforest Falls VBS! Serving as crew leaders, station assistants, and game leaders, they brought high energy and servant hearts to bless the younger kids in our church and community. Seeing our youth lead by example and invest in the next generation was one of the most rewarding parts of the summer.
This summer at RBCPC created unforgettable memories for our kids and provided them with meaningful opportunities to deepen their connection with God. We’re excited to see what next summer brings!
