Reflection for april 11

Last week’s services were deeply uplifting, reminding us that we can keep going. We are called to a wonderful life connected to God! We have eternal hope! Jesus carries our grief and sorrows. Jesus understands us and knows what it is like to be human in our world each day. We are never alone. We are fully understood by our Master. God chose two women to be the first witnesses to proclaim that Jesus had risen despite their low social credibility in that culture. Everyone can live a wonderful life with God, who allows us to be born again and keep moving forward. We are empowered to go and tell the world that there is salvation in His name. I want to thank all of the people who helped make all of the events possible at our church last week. We had Mornings with the Master services, a Maundy Thursday evening service, a Good Friday service, a Family service, and so many other things that were done to prepare us for a fabulous Easter Sunday. We walked with Jesus to the Cross, and we learned all that He lived through for us. Our church is blessed with many wonderful volunteers and staff members who show others how we can stay connected to God. Reflections from Deborah Kelly.
