Have you ever wondered exactly where your church contribution goes? The act of stewardship is a partnership with God to carry out His mission right here in our community and around the world. As 1 Peter 4:10 says, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” The Stewardship Committee has asked each ministry to display in the Gallery how they use your time, talent, and treasures. It has been inspiring to see the ideas coming in. We could easily fill two galleries with pictures and information of all our amazing volunteers and the events they make possible! God is using us to fuel every ministry, maintain every space, and empower every person who walks through our doors. You can see how additional giving can help us increase the good works we can do. Your generosity enables these vital areas of work:
Staff: We invest in our magnificent staff who dedicate their lives to leading worship, teaching classes, counseling families, and maintaining our buildings and facilities.
Kids and Families: We are making a difference in the lives of our kids and families by offering programs that teach faith and build strong foundations. We have a variety of music and arts productions for our kids to be involved in.
Hospitality: We have a great team that makes every visitor feel welcomed, valued, and comfortable in the community of Christ.
Communications: This Team helps us get the word out about events, stream the worship service online, and display the slides during worship.
Missions: This committee has many events to gather things to help people in need in our neighborhood and beyond, extending the love of Christ.
Congregational Care: They reach out to connect with people and offer support when needed. They visit people in the hospital, offer financial help, pray for people, and help support the congregation in many ways to shine the light of Jesus.
