Reflections for June 7

Last week's Youth Sunday truly emphasized God's intimate knowledge and constant presence in every aspect of our lives. We were reminded that even in difficult times, we are never outside of God's care, and His love for each unique individual remains unwavering. It was incredibly moving to hear different stories from our members, demonstrating how, even when life is challenging, God is always with us. They shared how they've worked through tough circumstances and persevered because God's mercy never failed them. These testimonies powerfully underscored the truth that we are not alone; we can always find strength and hope. As I reflected on these messages, I was searching through some things at my house and found a scripture that perfectly echoed the theme of last week's service: Joshua 1:5 – 'I will not leave you or abandon you.' This verse truly touched my heart, reinforcing the comforting truth that even when life is tough, we have both our church family and God who are there for us. A big thank you to all the youth who planned and dedicated their time to reading, speaking, singing, and playing music. Reflections from Deborah Kelly.
