Each month RB Community provides 100 sack lunches for clients of Interfaith Community Services. Even with COVID-19 and "shelter in place" we have been able to provide sack lunches as members of our congregation find ways to provide food items and practice social distancing.
Thank you to members of Tied in Prayer quilting group who provided various food items for the lunches, some made sandwiches, someone else picked up all the items and brought them to Frank and Kathy Wesley's home where a couple of members packed the sack lunches. Another member of the quilting group designed business card inserts with words of encouragement to go in each of the bags. Someone else delivered the meals to Interfaith for immediate distribution to clients.
It doesn't take a lot of effort and the lunches packed with love mean so much to those who receive them. If your family or your small group would like to provide 100 sack lunches for clients at Interfaith please contact Elaine@rbcpc.org.
