Loving God with All We Are

Loving God with All We Are

This summer’s camp was nothing short of incredible! Our theme came straight from Mark 12:30: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.” Throughout the week, our speaker challenged students to move beyond giving God the “leftovers” of their time and energy and instead put Him first in every area of life.

It was powerful to see the Holy Spirit move in the hearts of our students. Two students made the life-changing decision to give their lives to Jesus for the very first time. Four others shared openly that they had walked away from Him in the past, but now feel ready to return and follow Him wholeheartedly.

A common thread in many students’ stories was a realization that Jesus had not been their priority — they were giving Him whatever was left after school, sports, friends, and busyness. At camp, they were reminded that God desires and deserves our first and best.

Beyond the deep spiritual moments, we had a week full of laughter, games, cabin conversations, shared meals, and the kind of friendships that point each other toward Jesus. We are praising God for His goodness and faithfulness, and we are excited to see the seeds planted at camp continue to grow in the months ahead.

Please join us in praying for these students — that they would keep loving the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength long after the campfire smoke has faded. Richard Klusmeier
