In 2002, the congregation was meeting in the Fellowship Center for Worship Services while the Sanctuary was being remodeled. There was an announcement made in June, before the first service that we would be back in the Sanctuary. They needed people to come to help put the Bibles, Hymnals, offering envelopes, and pencils in the pews on a Friday morning.
Donna Prather and Kathleen Bitting were there to help with this new task and have continued to lead this effort for 20 years. This was the beginning of the Pew Angels who would come every week to do this job and pray for our church as they helped. More ladies came along and have helped over the years.
