Endings and Beginnings

As we close out 2025, it’s hard not to look back and reflect on all that has happened during this past year. There have been numerous ways for children, youth, and adults to participate in faith-based programming, music and theatrical events, worship, and mission outreach opportunities. Pastor Jason’s arrival has provided our congregation and staff with stability, new insights, and an energy that will help us keep moving forward as we grow into 2026 and beyond. January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Many of the non-profits we partner with work closely with local and federal law enforcement to help women and men escape trafficking/abuse and assist them in reclaiming their independence and their dreams. Additionally, through the Missions Committee's support of Linley Krahel, our missionary in Knoxville, working with the Raising A Voice mission, you have a direct impact on victims of trafficking there. During the last quarter of 2025, our congregation has provided 4 SUV loads of groceries, 900 sack lunches, 336 Thanksgiving Dinner bags, 130 toiletry kits, and 100’s of toys, all of which have been distributed to local non-profits serving families in need. Rejoice in knowing that RB Community is sharing the love of Jesus with many folks in San Diego County. Upcoming Outreach Opportunities: January 3 - Drive-thru grocery collection (9:00-11) in the upper parking lot January collection of warm outerwear for men, women, and children. Please leave donated items in the white box in the Welcome Center or bring them to the drive-thru collection on Saturday, January 17. Wishing you ALL a Happy and Healthy 2026!
